PIPE RAILINGS:

In 1991 the United States Justice Department enacted law that required public buildings to provide equal access to those with disabilities. An effect of that law spawned a generlized use of pipe style railings for handrail access.

 
42" high modern style guardrails with ADA compliant PIPE handrails
 
Anodized Aluminum guardrails with 1-1/2" sch: 40 handrails set at 36" from the walking surface to the top of the handrail surface.
 
 
This bronze balcony guardrail is fabricated from 3" diameter round tubing and 3/4" round baluster bars.

The Architect on this project designed the guardrails to flow horizontally around the corners while still having a squared off feel to the railings on the vertical plane
 
These railings are completely made of aluminum pipe. The frame and handrails are 1-1/2" sch: 40 Pipe and the balusters are fabricated from 1" round thin wall tubing
