PIPE RAILINGS:

In 1992 the United States Justice Department enacted law that required public buildings to provide equal access to those with disabilities. An effect of that law spawned a generalized use of pipe style railings for handrail access. Pipe railings are also used in modern designed homes providing a more simplistic or industrial look and feel.
